Pattern को नाम दें
Continuous die line, orange peel, उभरे कण, pit और bubble अलग करें; scale सहित अंदर-बाहर की photo तथा दिशा, स्थान, समय और lot दर्ज करें।
Baseline बचाएं
Lot, packing, color/regrind, die, screen, line record, cooling और puller data रखें। दूसरे guide की setting सामान्य recipe नहीं है।
Symptom branch
Die के साथ स्थिर mark tooling से शुरू करें; output के साथ wave feed, screw, pressure और puller से; particle/pit material, contamination और filtration से; bubble moisture, volatile और thermal history से।
एक variable की तुलना
एक बार में एक variable को उसी surface area और acceptance method से जांचें। Line/tooling हटाने के बाद defect lot के साथ रहे तो sample रखें और supplier या lab को escalate करें।
